At Croydon Athletic Football Club, our volunteers are the foundation of everything we achieve at Mayfield Stadium. As the club continues to grow on and off the pitch, we are expanding our dedicated team across matchday operations, media, retail, and facilities.

Matchday Safety Stewards
Assist with supporter safety, manage turnstile queues and crowd flow, ensure ground regulations are upheld, and offer a warm, helpful welcome to home and away fans.

Live Matchday Social Media Contributor
Deliver real-time fixture coverage on X (formerly Twitter), publish half-time and full-time graphics, and run engaging matchday Instagram Stories directly from pitchside.

Club Videographer / Content Creator
Capture raw pitchside match footage, record post-match interviews with management and players, and produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube.

Matchday Programme Contributor
Research opposition squads, write feature articles and player profiles, and assist with editorial proofreading ahead of print deadlines.

Matchday Bar & Kitchen Assistants
Assist within the clubhouse bar and pitchside food kiosk, preparing and serving hot food, refreshments, and beverages to supporters. Duties include operating card/cash payment points efficiently during pre-match and half-time intervals, maintaining food hygiene and cleanliness standards, and delivering warm, welcoming hospitality to both home fans and visiting guests.

Club Shop & Merchandise Assistant
Welcome supporters to the club shop, manage matchday stock displays, and process card and cash sales for official club merchandise before kick-off and during half-time.

Pitch Maintenance Assistants
Work alongside the grounds team on matchdays to assist with net and corner flag set-up, half-time and full-time divoting, and ongoing pitch care.

Stadium Working Party Volunteers
Assist with weekday and pre-match ground maintenance, perimeter board upkeep, painting, and general stadium tidiness to keep Mayfield Stadium in top condition.
