AFC Croydon Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of seasoned midfielder Anthony Grant.
The former Chelsea youth graduate brings massive pedigree and over 500 English Football League appearances to the Rams’ engine room, having represented the likes of Southend United, Port Vale, Peterborough United, Shrewsbury Town, and Swindon Town. A capped Jamaica international, Grant was a pivotal figure in Swindon’s League Two title-winning campaign, where he also claimed Player of the Season honours.
Manager and coaching staff moved quickly to secure the 37-year-old’s signature to inject elite composure, tactical awareness, and proven leadership into the squad for the challenges ahead.
Speaking on the arrival, the club said:
