Celebrating Creativity, Football and Community
We are excited to be part of the partnership between Croydon Athletic and Croydon College. This collaboration brings together football, education and creativity, creating exciting opportunities for students to gain real world experience while contributing to something meaningful within our local community.
A key part of this project is having the opportunity to express our creativity, develop our own ideas and explore different creative approaches. We are encouraged to think outside the box, experiment and bring our individual visions to life. This allows us to create work that feels personal, original and authentic.
Through photography and visual storytelling, we want to capture the true essence of AFC Croydon. Our focus goes beyond the matches themselves. We want to document the passion of the supporters, the dedication of the players, the atmosphere on match days and the little moments that make football so special.
Most importantly, we want to celebrate the people behind the club and the wider community across Croydon and South London. From supporters and families to local businesses and residents, everyone plays a part in shaping the identity of the club. We want to give these people a voice and show their stories, experiences and community spirit that brings everyone together.
For us, this partnership is an opportunity to create something that goes beyond photography. It is about representing our community, developing our creative skills and producing work that people can connect with and feel proud of. We hope to capture genuine moments and create a visual collection that reflects the spirit, diversity and identity of the people around us.
