Croydon Athletic are delighted to announce that Croydon’s born and raised artist, songwriter, and MOBO Award winner Nadia Rose has joined the club as the official Ambassador for the Women’s team.
The landmark partnership was officially confirmed on Sunday, 23 August, during our Women’s FA Cup tie against Cray Wanderers at the Mayfield Stadium. Nadia joined the squad in the dressing room at half-time, delivering an inspiring team talk and showing her passionate support from the stands throughout the match.
Known worldwide for her sharp lyricism and authentic sound, Nadia has always remained fiercely connected to her roots. In her new role, she will actively champion the women’s setup, using her platform to shine a spotlight on female grassroots football, inspire the next generation of local talent, and strengthen the club’s engagement across the Croydon community.
Speaking on her appointment, Nadia Rose shared:
“As a very proud Croydon girl, I’m honoured to be an ambassador for Croydon Athletic Women’s Football Club. It’s great to see a club that represents the talent, passion and community spirit of the endz. Wishing the players, staff and supporters a brilliant season ahead!
