We are delighted to announce the next batch of player registrations as preparations finalise for the upcoming season, featuring key commitments and two exciting returns to Mayfield Stadium.
Daniel and Taylor Sign On
First up, Guyana international Kadell Daniel has officially committed for the new campaign. A crucial figure over the last two seasons, Kadell has racked up 71 appearances and netted 22 goals—none more vital than his dramatic equaliser in the playoff final that kept our promotion dream alive.
Joining him is midfield engine James Taylor, who has completed his registration for the 2026/27 season. James was a model of consistency last term, featuring in 46 games and chipping in with 3 goals. A firm fans’ favourite, his work rate will be vital for the challenges ahead.
Welcome Back: McCarthy & Marjoram Return
We are also thrilled to welcome back two familiar faces to the squad.
Cian McCarthy is back in red and white. With 126 appearances and 8 goals already under his belt, Cian had a brief spell at Herne Bay towards the end of last season, but the draw of Mayfield Stadium has proven too strong. He returns fully focused on competing for his place in the side.
Also returning to the club is pacey full-back Finley Marjoram. Finley previously made 9 appearances whilst on loan from Crystal Palace before an unfortunate injury cut his spell short. Following a brief stint at Dover Athletic, his quality and talent are back at the disposal of the Rams.
