THE 1878 STADIUM (BURNHAM FOOTBALL CLUB)

The 1878 Stadium, formerly known as The Gore, located on Wymers Wood Road, Burnham SL1 8JG, is the home ground for Burnham FC. In December 2010, the club was authorized to install a third-generation (3G) artificial playing surface, which was completed in July 2021. The new pitch supports year-round football activities for the club, supporters, and the local community. Since the installation of the 3G pitch, the ground has been shared with Wargrave FC, Wycombe Wanderers Women FC, and starting in 2023, Southall FC.
